Lesley was such a lovely lady, so easy going and always a pleasure to meet with. Sleep well! X

Leslie was so generous in so many ways, so self-less and so understated yet so strong. She taught me so much, let me go out of my comfort zone but know I was safe to do so. Be it at the ‘pound a pint’ in the gym nights or on the hockey pitch as well as everything in between. I can honestly say I have nothing but loving and fond memories of Leslie and she will be greatly missed. Sending all my love to her family.

I have known Lesley since I started Brownies at my local church in the late 1960’s and she was the Brownie Leader, once I went to Guides I came back and used to help her with Brownies. She did a very mean rendition of “are we going on a bear hunt”. Great fun was had. We spent a lot of time through the church doing things involving not just Lesley but all her family including mum Hilda. We will have happy memories of her xx

The Langleys are long-standing friends of our family & I knew Lesley throughout my life. When in her presence, despite long being an adult, I couldn’t help but still refer to her as Brown Owl, my childhood brownie pack leader, to which she tried to correct me to ‘Lesley’, but it never stuck. So this is for you Brown Owl, the lovely woman who gave up your time for your brownies & helped us all to grow. May you be happily reunited with Bob always & forever & lots of love to Dave & Rachel x
